Africa Day of Prayer is an annual prayer gathering, sponsored by the Twin Cities African Christian Community, and hosted by the African Christian Fellowship.

The objective is to challenge African Christians to seek the face of God concerning Africa. In the midst of many difficult challenges facing Africa, we are reminded of God's promise to Solomon in the book of 2nd Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14, which says, "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sins, and heal their land".

Africa Day of Prayer (ADP) is generally scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of October each year. Although, the event is hosted by the African Christian Fellowship (ACF), many African Churches in the community are involved in the planning and implementation of the prayer events

ADP is open to all Christians and friends of Africa. Our primary purpose is to pray for the continent of Africa. Therefore, we ask that you consider joining us this year as we come together under the umbrella of Christ to seek the face of our father on behalf of countries and people of Africa.
